Thank you everyone. From the bottom of our hearts. Your prayers helped keep Amy fighting so hard, but sadly, this evening God decided he needed another angel beside him. She passed away surrounded by her family, there couldn't have been more love in that room. She kept going far beyond all expectation this week, and we are all so proud of her. Amy was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Everyone who knows her would agree she would light up a room, and was a welcome and much needed ray of sunshine on a cloudy Seattle day. Traits she so generously left us in her beautiful daughter Ava.
We want to recognize the amazing doctors and nurses at Virginia Mason ICU for the incredible care they took of Amy and of us this week. They did everything in their power to give her as much time as possible, in turn giving us as much time as possible to be with her. They accommodated everyone and made sure we were all taken care of, and everyone knows how much of a handful the Ollom's can be. They have undoubtedly one of the hardest jobs in the world, and they deserve so much of our appreciation.
We will continue to use this website as a way to keep everyone updated on funeral arrangements as plans are made. Feel free to keep posting messages to Amy, Robert and Ava. Pictures can also be posted as well. If anyone has pictures or videos of Amy, we are trying to put together a remembrance video/slideshow for Robert and Ava. Pictures can be emailed to [email protected], and if you have video, email me and let me know and we will figure out a way to get them sent over.
To everyone who has posted messages and donations, your love and generosity are felt by the entire family. They are going to help Robert and Ava so much through this difficult time.
Amy touched so many people's lives, and you couldn't help but love her. Her smile was infectious and it was always followed by her contagious laugh. And probably a snort or two. Always the life of the party. You're going to be so missed my sister. You fought hard for all of us, but now it's time for you to rest. You watch over Robert and your baby girl from up there, and we'll take care of them for you down here.
Till we all meet again beautiful girl. You are forever loved.
