What a beautiful time of year, filled with smiles and gratitude. We are grateful to see that Annie has emerged from her post-treatment hibernation and has lifted our holiday cheer. While still recovering from her recent procedures, we are encouraged by her increased energy. True to form, she always has a few tricks up her sleeve and on Christmas night she surprised us with this fantastic ensemble:
We have been celebrating the holidays with many long-standing Christmas traditions, including singing carols in Annie's cabin on Christmas Eve. This tradition was started well before Aug and I can remember, with other Lenado families that have now grown to be a part of our extended family. Three generations come together to sing, pass the torch of land stewardship, and remind each other that we are part of a greater whole. A whole lot of beautiful nuts.
We could not be happier with our nutty bunch and the extended community that makes up our family. Thank you for the smiles. We hope you are with your loved ones and living at the speed of life that best suits you and not taking things too seriously.
Annie wishes everyone happy holidays and she is looking forward to connecting with you in the new year.
August, Em & Annie
