What a difference a day makes

Once again our God has done immeasurably more than we could think or imagine.

Yesterday was a big day! Billy had the swallow test to make sure the surgery was successful. ..... He passed🙌 ....No leaks or blockages🙌. Billy told us the X-ray techs cheered  🎉

 He is doing so well they removied some of his tubes and he was able to drink some apple juice and water. Joy filled that room and there was some laughter in that quiet ICU, even though it was painful  for him.

By 7:30 pm he was out of ICU🎉🕺🏼....one step further to going home. 

The next step is to remove his chest tube and see how he handles soft food.   

We are all so grateful to each one of you for your prayers and support.  He’s still got some challenges to overcome as he learns how and what he will be able to eat.
