I apologize for the long delay in updates. Since my last update, we have had to make some tough decisions, and it has been a busy and stressful time over the past couple of weeks. As a family, it was decided that hospice at home would be the right choice for dad. His radiation treatments were completed last week, and we have been able to get the care and equipment required into his home and as of Monday evening, he was transported from the hospital back to home where he is now resting comfortably, and in his own environment. He is happy to not have a revolving door of staff, as it has been at the hospital, so that he can get some real rest. We have a 24 hour nurse available to us right now. I have been there for the past two weeks, and just returned home to Michigan. Cheryl and her sisters have also been together this week, and they have provided her with some much needed moral support. For now, we will take things a day at a time, and continue to pray. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers, and know that he appreciates everyone's care and concern along the way.
