Get Your Party Pants on!

Exciting news! Lena’s 100th day is this Sunday, Nov 10th. She is celebrating by inviting all who want to come to Circa 33 during their happy hour this Sunday starting at 4 pm. Come join Lena to enjoy good foods, a good drink and support Lena making it past this first hurdle.

If you are attending, we encourage you to have gotten your flu vaccine. Also if you have had contact with someone who has/ had a cold or the flu very recently, you could still be a carrier even if you are not showing symptoms yet.  Thank you in advance for taking precautions to keep Lena safe while still immunocompromised.

100 days is a huge marker for anyone after a bone marrow transplant. Lena has made it through a very crucial time. Most patients are readmitted during this time, due to infections, dehydration, or low blood count. Lena has not been admitted during these 100 days. This is fantastic news. Every day she is pushing herself to be active, to eat and to make sure she is following strict food and cleaning protocols. Some of these restrictions get to be lifted on her 100th day, Nov 10th. Who knows, she might even enjoy half a glass of wine this Sunday!

Lena has worked tremendously hard to reach this point. It is not the end of this journey but it is a huge milestone to reach. Thank you to her community which has helped her to achieve this long-awaited goal.

Lena also is doing well enough to enjoy more visitors. Feel free to reach out to her if you would like to visit.

Hope to see you on Sunday!
