Dear Family and Friends... It's been quite awhile since I posted on this site, so I thought it time to update you. I saw my doctor yesterday and received a very encouraging report. The "bad stuff" in my blood continues to decrease, even though it's been 5 months since my last chemo. And the white cell count is improving. I continue to receive IV gamma globulin infusions once a month to boost my immune system. I feel GREAT, and am able to do everything and anything I want to do.[...]
My dear family and friends... I can't begin to thank you for your encouragement, and especially your prayers. My doctor here in California will be watching my blood levels; hopefully the bad stuff in my blood will stay suppressed for a long time. I will continue to get gamma globulin infusions every 4-6 weeks to boost my immune system.[...]
Carolyn is having another chemo treatment tomorrow at the Cleveland Clinic. The doctors, Carolyn and Chuck/Cricket/Charles are hopeful that it's the last for a long while. The two of them just came home yesterday from a GREAT trip to Macinac Island and some other little town along the coast of northern Michigan- so thankful that she's felt good enough to move along with life.[...]
Mom's treatment went smoothly yesterday- thank you for joining us in prayer!
- Please pray for energy as she teaches adult sunday school tomorrow and for the last few remaining days with grandkids, especially during days 2-5 (Sunday-Thursday).
- Please pray that the chemo finishes off the bad cells and that the gammaglobulin infusion kicks up her immune system. Thankfully, the numbers are looking better after each treatment.
Carolyn is enjoying all her grandkids this month at Linwood- eating ice cream, playing games, reading books and cooking for them. She's had 7 grandkids and 5 of their parents move through the cottage at record-breaking speed! Check out the new photos in the Linwood photo album![...]

No more walker here! Mom is up and around and outside. Just today seemed like a huge step to being as good as new. She was able to go to church, walk down to the neighbors' cottage, help make dinner, go up and down the steps, etc. Next goal: walk all the way to the stand after the 4th of July parade! [...]
