Round 2 Update

We went in for Round 2 on May 24th and had a minor hurdle. Before treatment can happen, blood work is done to ensure levels are where they need to be. Test results showed Craig’s white blood cell count and ANC (bone marrow production) were super low, but luckily the doctor gave us the go ahead to begin treatment anyway (which made Liz happy so she could get a jump start on report cards!)[...]

First Round Done

Craig’s treatment began on May 10th and went better than either of us anticipated. His treatment plan includes 4 different chemo meds, and the entire infusion process takes approximately two and a half hours. Minor dizziness the days following treatment has been the only side effect thus far. His appetite and energy level are still going strong. A week after treatment, blood work was done and all looked good after Round #1. [...]
