Today is a trying day for my dad. His condition has been worsening over the last two days. He's been intubated and on a breathing machine since Monday because his lungs were too fragile to stand up to the levels of oxygen they were having to push in order to keep his system stable. Today feels like a very important day. Please send your peaceful, loving and compassionate thoughts his way.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and photos. We have been reading everything to him.

Dear David, Paola has kept us informed of your condition. I came back from Lerab Ling, France, yesterday. You have lots of buddhists there (our summer retreat this year had over 1000 folks!) thinking of you in our daily practices, and of course here in Seattle too. Thank you for being you and all the generosity and help you've shown me over the years. I'm so glad Alex set this website up. All my love and good wishes, Cristina Perez

David, I've been keeping you in my thoughts since we ran into Alex last Friday. When mum mentioned this site to me today I immediately thought of the old home videos we have of you and dad in our backyard in Spokane hopping around while hiding the Easter eggs. Lots of love and hugs to you and to Alex, Rory, Nikki, Stephanie, and the boys. Mara

Dave was good man both as a working colleague and as a friend. His warm smile and positive attitude was a reminder that there was something good in everything we face. His good nature is what I immediately think of when I think of Dave. He will certainly be missed. Rest in peace my friend.
