I haven't posted an update in a while, and it isn't for lack of new, just a lack of motivation I guess....
A lot has happened but it feels like not much time has passed at all.
I have now gone to SIX chemo treatments. that is HALF WAY people!!!
Every time I have a treatment, my body acts a little different. I can predict what might happen, but it never happens on the same day, so all I can do is try to prevent and hope that I can keep things under control.
I had a midway PET scan and it went very well. My tumor markings are basically half of what they were before and no sign of it spreading. More good news. :) I would have posted right after that but my mom got so excited that she got to it before me, so I decided to hold off a while longer. Sorry for any suspense I may have been putting you through.
I have had a great holiday so far! I did have a treatment the day before Christmas Eve, so that was a bit of a bummer, but my dad went with me for the first time and that was nice. Especially since he'll be gone for about a month for work in January. We had the Kath family Christmas and our Christmas the weekend before Christmas so I could still pig out on all of the baked goods. It just isn't Christmas without the finger foods and baked goods! Then the Patterson family Christmas was on Christmas day and was nice and relaxing.
I've also had some family and friends bring over some yummy food, for which I am so thankful. Through all of this, the thing I have noticed most is how kind and thoughtful the people in my life are. I mean, crazy unbelievably amazing! Thank you for being a part of my life.
