Great News!

His numbers continue to rise — this is fantastic! Dr. Tees has said he’s healthy and doing great. All he needs to do now is a few more check ups regarding the transplant phase. The stem-cell process is complete and he’s now moving into the long-term phase of recovery. Long-term recovery includes a 3-month check up and scan, a 6-month check up and an annual check up and possible  scan. I’m pretty sure after everything Dave’s been through he can handle this.

I’ll update you with next steps and Dad’s plan once he understands it himself in the next few weeks. Thank you all for your prayers and support. It’s made all the difference! For now he’s continuing to rest and regain much needed energy. Fatigue is the biggest hurdle for today, but he’s doing great managing his day between some fun and some R&R.

I love you all,

Magen
