Week Two ~ Treatment and prayer requests
I am still waiting for my laptop so this post will be short as I am posting from my phone. I will have my laptop by the following weekend! Monday morning and we are starting out at Radiology. Gary is having a PET scan. This test will check for cancer throughout Garys body...then off to the docs for treatment. Each day I am learning not to lean on idols. ..each day I am learning that I had more idols then I even knew and as I release them the peace and joy that God promised is present. But this post is for Gary's prayer needs and today we start out on week two of treatment. ..our prayer requests are as follows. ..if you have a prayer chain please include us in it..prayer for wisdom regarding Garys nutritional needs .....prayers for God to touch Garys stomach to eliminate the bloating and pain....and ofcourse I am asking for my hearts desire. ...healing total healing in Jesus name. I have witnessed the hand of God..answers to your prayers and today we are here starting week two because of your continued prayers, posts of encouragement and your financial gifts.
This journey is difficult but because you each have and are standing with us we can do it!

Praying with you for a total healing miracle, for God's Love and Wisdom to envelope you each day of this journey. For many to be drawn closer to the Lord or come to know Him through this. We are praying for you Gary and Dawn and will bring your specific requests before God this morning. Our hearts are heavy for you as we think of your suffering. As many others have posted, we too have been touched in recent years by Gary's kind and generous spirit and his heart for God. We pray that God uses this situation as an example of His healing touch. May you experience His joy and peace today.
I pray the Lord will meet your every need this day. I know that is His will , for He promised to be with us alway and in every situation. to give us strength for each day. .Loving all of you from afar.!!!

Keep the faith. It probably took years for the cancerous cells to grow -- sure would be nice if he could kick them out and be cured in a few weeks, but even I think that's pushing it for a miraculous recovery! I'll keep up the prayers and the positive thoughts and look forward to having Gary building Phase II with us in the Philippines later this year.
