Gratitude ~
This morning my heart is full of gratitude for you and your prayers. Yesterday when the car wouldn't start my first thought was post for prayer now! Weak and tired and not usually the one to deal with car issues and that kind of thing, it has always been Gary's job. But once again God showed up and as my loving Father guided and provided for me. After I asked for prayer, too weak to pray myself, I called my daughter-in law and she came and got me. After we talked it over I decided to call AAA. When I called they were so helpful, do to Gary having been such a good standing member for 17 years, there are times you are grateful for being older, she reported that the car could go to a AAA recommended shop and the work would be covered for 24,000 miles, that was a relief because we just spent $2000.00 at a shop we didn't know several weeks ago. She also informed me that we had a one days paid car rental to use while the car was in the shop. Big breath...let it out....I am so grateful. The tow truck driver came and after asking me a couple of questions. He poped up the hood and tightened a few things and then he started the car....yep he sure did. He smiled and said enjoy your night! Tears of relief and gratitude were streaming down my face. I went and sat down with son, his wife and my beautiful little granddaughter praising the Lord from my heart that was and is full of gratitude for Gods goodness to me.
Gary had a better night in that he was able to process the little bit of nourishment he took in. I am sitting with my little granddaughter, we are watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and there is peace in the mist of the storm.
This morning my heart is rested and full of gratitude.

So thankful you are finding peace in the middle of a storm...love you
You are living proof that God is involved in every detail of our lives, if we let Him. You continue to amaze me with your reactions to the many crisis that keep occurring. You go directly to God instead of feeling sorry for yourself. I know He is blessing you for your faithfulness and He will lead you through this valley. You are always in our prayers. Chris
