Connie McNair
I just wrote a heart-felt message, but it got deleted while changing and updating my password. But, here is the gist of it.
Gary left his gifts for all through the way he lived his life for the Lord. He has touched so many people that we may never know about. That touch as been carried on in their choices, their behaviors and the goodness that is evident. It is also evidence in the one-flesh grandchildren who thrive and cheer up your lives daily.
Yes, grief can really surprise one, when it springs back revealing itself again. Perhaps it is that such a love is so deep and nothing, but the Lord can consistently fill that spot. Gary was a very special husband, he gave a great deal to his family, and his music ministry opened hearts to the Lord.
I am sorry you are still dealing with emotions of sadness, but I know you are honest and not letting anything go unfelt. We honor Gary's life, and we honor you, Dawn, for being the strong women behinds the scenes to encourage him along. You were a wonderful couple, and your grown children reflect that.
God bless and I hope to see you in the near future.
Love,
Connie
