Early this morning, our sweet mom went on her journey to meet her Creator. In peace and without pain, she took her last breath after enjoying one of her favorite activities; watching TCM (Turner Classic Movies) with family. Best yet, was that the movie was a religion one "Barabbas". Our last glimpse of her was with a gentle smile and a soft nod of comfort.
Mom lived an amazing life with unwavering faith and an acceptance of her destiny. God was gracious enough to allow her to regain some strength to share the last several days engaged enough with us that we too became at peace. Her chores on earth are done and she is needed for other duties. We are certain they will include celestial trips, helping the souls in purgatory turn over a new leaf, dancing on the clouds, catching the sun's rays in the corner of her bright blue eyes and anything else someone says can't be done.
We are fortunate to be blessed with great family, close friendships and a lot of love. We are exceptionally grateful to all of you for your love and support. We are reminding each other to not have a heavy heart as we all know mom lived life to the fullest and eloquently accepted anything that came her way including this transition to her eternal home.
Services: Viewing will be held at Kopicki Funeral Home in Kingston on Thursday April 23rd with funeral services on Friday morning at Saint Ignatius also in Kingston, PA. Gathering afterwards. More details to follow.
