LAST CHEMO!!! And What’s Next?

Hard to believe, but TODAY is Beth’s last chemo!!! Hooray!!! She has endured six rounds of aggressive chemo like a champ. Beth spent the weekend before this final treatment enjoying time with family- going to Peking Dragon in Dana Point, outlet shopping, and family dinner last night. She is very much looking forward to getting through this last one and putting the chemo chapter behind her.

Now, we look toward what’s next- surgery then radiation. Beth met last week with her surgeon (who she loves!) and a game plan was tentatively set for surgery in the first two weeks of December. We will know the details after the last sets of MRI’s, etc show just how effective the chemo has been. We will keep you all updated on dates.

For now, we are celebrating Beth making it through chemo. If you have a minute, please share a comment or send an email (Carrie- [email protected]) with a note of support or encouragement for Beth. We will print them out and have in a jar in her room for Beth to read as she recovers from this last round.

Thanks all!

Hi Beth, it is an honor to lift you to our Lord in prayer all these many weeks. You are, even through this very trying and difficult time, a bright light shinning in our crazy world!! Grateful to God that He has you wrapped in His arms and knows all about what is taking place for you second by second... the Word says in Jeremiah 29:11 from the Message, ... "I'll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I am doing. I have it all planned out--plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. In Love and encouragement, Kay Burris
