Hello to all on Tracy's blog!  My name is Lisa, I am a friend of Tracy's and she has asked me to update her blog to give you the latest:  Tracy got "THE CALL" at 3:20 am on Saturday, May 30 from Cedars Sinai Hospital: they have a heart match!  Here are Tracy's words:

"They have a heart match for me.  I am ecstatic and scared all rolled into one.  I know God has a plan for my life and I keep repeating "Thy will be done" in my head over and over.

Please pray for my donor's family and friends.  They are not ecstatic.  They are mourning a deep loss.  They got devastating news in the past few hours while I got life changing good news.

Please pray with me that this heart is the one.  We are on our way to the PDX airport.  Los Angeles here we come!"

That was 24 hours ago.  Tracy and her husband arrived safely in LA around 10am and made it to the hospital.  Sadly, Michael wasn't allowed to go inside with her due to COVID19.  He found a hotel close by and is sharing updates as he can.  In the meantime, Tracy was admitted and immediately when through another round of plasmaparesis, which is treatment she has had many times before where they try to filter antibodies out of her blood.  Her surgery was then scheduled for 9pm last night, but was postponed due to riots near the hospital - the hospital went into lock down.

Her surgery is now scheduled for NOON TODAY.  This has been a whirlwind for her since she got the news.  She is in good spirits and is confident that the team being assembled will be able to give her a new lease on life today!

Please send your thoughts and prayers for her as you think of her.  I'm calling this day, May 31, Tracy's heart birthday.  Please join with me as we collectively send thoughts, prayers, and good wishes for a positive outcome!!

I will try to provide updates over the next several days as I am able.  Thank you to EVERYONE for your support, love, and encouragement to Tracy.  I know it means the absolute WORLD to her!!

Sending prayers for you, Tracy, for all your family and for the family of the donor. Counting the minutes until your surgery begins. Prayers for the wonderful, dedicated team who will be working with you. Extra prayers for your husband - how incredibly difficult for both of you that he can't be there with you.
