Greetings everyone, Lisa here!  I wanted to give you some updates on Tracy.  In a nutshell, SHE'S DOING GREAT!  Her surgery took much less time than anticipated.  Over the last week, she's had multiple tubes progressively removed, she's been walking (more like running) laps around the nurses' station, and just last night she was moved from ICU!  She was able to listen to her new heartbeat yesterday - that was a very moving experience.  So many emotions!

Her sweet husband, Michael, has been by her side as much as he can be in the current environment.  In addition, he has secured housing, taken care of getting appropriate furniture for her when she is discharged, and a hundred other things -- all while keeping us in the loop.

I know Tracy would want to tell you all THANK YOU for your thoughts and prayers.  There are no words that adequately describe the miracle that we have witnessed.

I hope to post more good news in the coming days and weeks - or even better, TRACY may be the next one to post!

    Joyous Heart

As someone that has been through a heart transplant I can remember all of the little celebrations for the little milestones met and passed. The emotional part will carry on ....... it has for 13+ years for me. The tears of happiness, the tears of life are very real. Continued prayers for a fast and complete recovery. (Especially during these COVID-19 times)!! Hugssss
