Day 63 - Wednesday - 12/20/17

Holly Update #40: Day 63 - GOIN' HOME!!!

This may be the happiest day of our lives, it certainly is the most thankful! Just when we think God can't get any more gracious...He shows Himself in ways we could never imagine! After two months from the day our lives were changed, Holly is home and doing great. She has been at Select Rehab for the past three weeks and it's amazing how she has responded. She is regaining her strength day by day. She has her voice, smile, personality and sense of humor back in full force. She is walking over 700 feet, with a walker or cane. We prayed for her to come back to us and God answered. She still has some out-patient therapy and dialysis, both of which, we are trusting God to make temporary, and we truly believe He will.

Thank you to all the doctors and staff, at Presbyterian, UTSW, and Select, for doing your part. You are the best.

Thank all of you, our friends and family, for doing your part. There is no way to adequately express our appreciation for your prayers, love, and support throughout this journey. You were there for us every time we needed you. You are THE BEST!

Thank you Holly for your will to live. You never quit fighting, not once. We are so proud of you. Through this whole process you never complained, never refused to do what was asked of you, and when you were able, you did it with a smile. We love you more than you can ever know! Welcome back!

Most importantly, thank you God for Your outpouring of absolute love and grace! You never, for even one second, left us to fend for ourselves. You were always out front of everything that came along. You were answering questions we didn't even know to ask. All we can say is thank you, thank you, thank you, x ten thousand. We love You and praise You for Your unconditional love towards us. We love You, not just for what you did, but for who You are!

God still does miracles...we've just seen one!

Please pray for Gary Don, Valerie and all of the Moore family.

Thank you again, we love you!

I love how you have been so upbeat through all of this. I suspect it wasn't easy, but your faith through all of it has been an enormous inspiration. I am so glad to hear all the good news in an ocean of bad news everywhere we turn. Yay!
