The more I hear about these dispicable acts the more I am determined to spread the word for these animals. Some may look away and think there isn't anything they can do to change it. That is far from true. We can make a difference by spreading the word to our friends and family. Maybe they didn't know. Maybe they didn't realize what goes on behind the scenes. Now is your chance to spread awareness. Be the voice they don't have. I would never take my child to a Circus. This is not what animals were meant to do. They are not supposed to suffer for our amusement! [...]
Leather and Fur
Because skin is the most economically important co-product of the meat industry, buying leather directly contributes to factory farms and slaughterhouses—and all the cruelty involved. Purchasing the skins of cows raised in the U.S. likely pays for the horrors of factory farming, including castration, branding, tail-docking, and dehorning—all without any painkillers. Leather sourced from developing countries such as India and China may have come from animals who experienced untold suffering—such as being dismembered while they're still conscious—since animal welfare laws there are either non-existent or not enforced.[...]

The Animals Asia Foundation (AAF) has worked tirelessly to address the plight of the thousands of bears suffering on bile farms throughout Asia. After years of campaigning, AAF was able to get the China Wildlife Conservation Association to sign an agreement that allowed for the rescue of 500 endangered moon bears from the worst farms in Sichuan Province. The ultimate goal of the agreement is to work toward the elimination of all bear farming in China and to promote herbal alternatives to bear bile.[...]
