Imanis MRI Report

Today was Imani's MRI brain scan...the outcome brought out lots of joyful tears and  praise...as the scan showed That there was NO TUMOR present!!!!!!..The Doctors were pleasantly surprised at how well the radiation worked..but we were pleasantly overjoyed at HOW MIGHTY OUR GOD Worked!!!!...The Doctors feel that there is a chance that the tumor may reoccur so they are continuing with a treatment plan to ensure that recurrence is kept at bay..which will be immunotherapy..We continue to Believe in the God that heals, delivers and sets us free and know that the Miracke worker is at work even now. We rejoice in the knowledge of who God us and what He has done and continue to Praise Him in Advance!..Please keep the prayers going up for this little angel, because the test has turned into a testimony..and can only continue to spring forth more and more victories!!!πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½GOD IS GOOD!!![...]

Imani's Progress

Imani has been progressing nicely in home schooling and therapy. She has been getting over some ear issues with an ear infection but overall she has been doing well. She wore her crown everyday until she turned 6 on November 10th and has established herself as "in charge" of all rules of the house..lol...She has been busy in her play kitchen as well  as in the real kitchen and wants to help make or prepare anything..it is such a joy to see her active and engaged in all activities. As we prepare for her Upcoming MRI, she isnt looking forward to being stuck for an IV, and states that she is over needles. As we believe GOD for confirmation of her healing we know that GOD is at work every single moment we see her progressing. Thank you for your continued prayers and encouragement![...]

Adjusting to Home Life

Imani has been doing well!..She has adjusted well to home schooling and will continue until the Doctors reevaluate her in January.  It's been a busy couple  of weeks getting her services set up, however we are getting into a steady routine. Imani's home school teacher has been impressed with her knowledge and miss Imani usually leads the session by letting her tutor know that she needs a no homework night..lol..She works out heartily in her physical and occupational therapy sessions, has not used the Walker or wheelchair since getting home. She got to do her trick or treating on foot as she vowed not to do it from a wheelchair, she lasted 2 hours before finally giving in to my persistent pleas..lol..however she later said, I really was ready to stop walking but I didnt want to admit it..πŸ’–We are waiting to hear about the next treatment phase for her, and she will be getting a scan of her brain on November 30th to get a new baseline of the tumor size. We are praying for total eradication and continue to believe God for her complete healing and restoration! Please continue to keep us in your prayers!πŸ™πŸ½πŸ’–[...]

Last Day of Treatment

Today was Imani's last day of treatment!!!..As is customary at Sloan, at the completion of radiation treatments, the patient rings a bell three times to note the last treatment. Well, miss Mani was up at 5:30am wanting to get ready to get her last treatment done, although groggy from anesthesia, she asked to be brought down to ring the bell, everyone cheered her on as an added boost. To be done feels so good!!.We will be going home by Friday and returning for a follow-up appointment in 2 weeks to determine the next steps and set a date for an MRI of the brain. We believe God on all fronts!..Imani is excited to return home, and told everyone at the hospital that she may only come to visit them, but she was out of there..lol..This has been a journey for all us, and was made even more meaningful when I mentioned that my shoulder was hurting me, Imani looked at me and said, "Just tell Jesus Mimi, He got me up and running again, He will fix your shoulder."..Amen to the growth of mustard seed faith in us all. Starting out, we didnt see the end or the outcome, but God carried us here, strengthening and enabling us to go on through thoughts and prayers. Imani will be in recovery mode due to needing to build up her immune system for awhile, and will.be home schooled until December.,however as she continues to recover and be restored we believe God for total and full restoration and continued leaps into her Talitha-Cumi- Healing.[...]

Countdown!!!

One more day of radiation treatment left!!..Imani continues to do well and is excited to be able to go home at the end of the week. Her Doctors continue to be pleased with her progress, and she will follow up in two weeks to determine next steps and set an appointment for a rescan of her brain via MRI. We are prayerful and praising God in advance for the results!..Daily Mani's strength has grown on her right side, as she has gone back to writing with her right hand, but is now also skilled in using the left hand as well!..Her leg strength is growing and her brace has had to be modified to accommodate her change in movement. We continue to praise God for the work being wrought in and through this journey because we know it all belongs to God!..The journey to this day has not been without stress or weariness, but it has been lightened by the prayers and encouragement of everyone holding this little peanut up before the throne of grace!..We continue to believe and praise God!πŸ™πŸ½πŸ’–πŸ™πŸ½[...]

Countdown to Treatment Completion

Today is Imani's 22nd day of treatment..11 more to go before completion!!She is progressing daily, and ditches her Walker and wheelchair whenever she can. The house held a block party on Saturday and Imani walked from 10Am to 6pm without any Walker or wheelchair. She continues to do well and tries to do more, as she aptly puts it, "I can walk now, I'm fighting this old germ, and I dont need an old wheelchair or walker"..lol..Her sense of humor and style is in full effect, daily she coordinates her outfits from head to toe, and has worked through her hair loss to the point where she doesn't want the headbands any longer and says," I'm okay without the headband"..She continues to walk in her Talitha-Cumi healing!..Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers!..πŸ™ŒπŸ½..As one believer put it we are just waiting on the Doctors to grab a hold of the report we already know and believe, which says Imani is Healed, Delivered, Set Free from this![...]
