lived with

a women

& her

child

-I am

not trying

to judge

-just share

my thoughts...

She would

let her

kid watch

anything

-it did

not matter

if it

was meant

for adults...

I do

not purposely

watch the

news

-if it

is important

-I will

hear about

it...

I asked

this women

-why do

you let

your son

watch violence

-sex

-& what

I perceived

as garbage...

She replied

-I can

not keep

him in

a bubble...

I responded

-the world

is hard

enough

-without filling

your little

kid's head

with negativity...

I can't

watch certain

shows any

longer

-too real

-too overwhelming...

There is always Hope!  If a movie or show is too intense, yet worth watching, I will watch it well before bed time-so I can process my feelings & have a restful sleep.
