"Adam"...

Asperger syndrome is often considered a high functioning form of autism. It can lead to difficulty interacting socially, repeat behaviors, and clumsiness.

People with Asperger syndrome become over-focused or obsessed on a single object or topic, ignoring all others. They want to know everything about this topic, and often talk about little else. (from) PubMed Health

What do

people really

know about

this

-with out

lived experience...

The only

reason I

put the

info above

-is to

give some

kind of

perspective...

I watched

a movie

-called "Adam"...

The main

character plays

-a person

with Aspergers...

It hit

me hard

-to see

his challenges

-how others

viewed him...

What strikes

me most

-how we

choose to

see as

"normal"...

How many

of us

-are honest

& open

-about our

feelings...

We hide

behind

-hurt

-fear

-anger...

Or pretend

we really

don't care

-when our

heart &

head says

otherwise...

So the

next time

-you see

some one

different than

you

-look for

commonality

-we are

more the

same

-in so

many ways

-than different...

There is always Hope!  When I catch myself judging some one-I stop myself & say "Beautiful child of God's".  This is how I am changing my thinking-this allows love in!
