I take suggestions not orders....

I said

good-bye

-to my

sponser yesterday...

I felt

pushed

-& pushed

-& even

bullied...

His job

is to

share his

-experience

-strength

-& hope...

Give direction

& work

with me

-through the

12-steps...

We did

some work

-but

-me being  

sick

-no ability

to get

together...

Let alone

-go to

meetings...

So in

his mind

-I was

failing

-& he

unkindly told

me so...

I confronted

him

-as I

had with

other things

he said...

He had

the best

of intentions

-just an

agenda &

limited way

of seeing

recovery...

The 12-step

groups

-are one

tool-box

-with many

tools that

work...

However

-it is

not the

only way

-even though

a lot

of people

believe so...

There is always Hope!  I will meet a new sponser or perhaps not-I know how to work the steps & have been doing so for many years of my life.
