I Believe

I believe we all have wisdom to share with this world.  All of our experiences, be they good, bad, happy & hopeless, makes us the unique individuals we are today.

I grew up being artsy, sensitive & expressive.  These are gifts given to me by The Creator, God.  I was teased, put down & tormented for these gifts-they were seen as attributes only a girl should have.

Despite the abuse I endured, it has made me the strong, independant & talented person I am today.  It also taught me compassion, kindness & the ability to stand up for injustice.

My heart & my prayers go out to kids, teens & adults who are being hurt for who they are.  And I especially pray for the people hurting them-you hurt, so you inflict pain on others.

Please stop, & think, before you say or do something to cause pain on another human being-does it really feel good?  What if you were in that person's place?

I am not without fault.  I have hurt a lot of people in my life & I am truely sorry!  I can make a difference now by changing my words & actions to be ones of encouragement, hope, kindness, understanding & love.

We can all choose to start changing our words & actions-we can all start making this world a better place-we can all start letting our light shine!

We are all worthy of dignity, respect, honour, celebration & love!
