Touch

The need for touch, to be held, hugged & having some one hold your hand is so important.  We all do not have a partner to give & recieve this type of nurishment.  A baby that is not touched, can die-this is terrible.

I was chatting to someone on line last night & the topic of cuddling came up.  Why does society put such restrictions on people being affectionate with one another.  We were talking about non-sexual tenderness.

I know that when you do not grow up with hugging & kisses-it is more difficult for you to be affectionate.

I am pleased that men have become more tender (though it may not be called that) by giving eachother a "manly" hug.

However, we are all part of society & we can choose to change what the so called norm does & start being more demonstrative with our affections.

I feel good when I can hug a male friend & there is no discomfort & what ever any body thinks-who cares!

We can be squeeze tight against strangers on a bus but when two guys hug eachother, well that's just not right-well keep thinking that but please keep your words that are not life affirming to yourself! And you probably need a lot of hugs!

Tenderness-we all need it & we all deserve it!

God Bless
