Relations

I read a post on facebook about brothers; how close they are & no matter what happens in life, they are always there for each other.

The same can be said for sisters & for brother/sister relationships.  I have been blessed with 2 brothers & 2 sisters.  I have been close to each of them at different times of my life.

Life happens & now I am very close to 1 sister-I am also thankful for my family of choice.  People in my life that have become very close to me & they have also become part of my family.

I wanted to share the importance of having kind, caring, supportive & loving people in your life.  You truly have the opportunity to blossom with these wonderful friends around you.

I find it very interesting that different people who have come into my life have reminded me of my family of origin.  And whether we realize it or not, we all continue to act, react to these people until we recognize the patterns.

As long as we can be in healthy relations to each person-that is great,  if we find ourselves repeating negative behaviors-it is not helping us to be happy, healthy & whole.

We have the ability to teach others how to treat us-if some one hurts me, I can tell the person in a respectful way & hope they change.  I have told one person (for example) many times to stop talking about their partner & eventually they did.

It all comes down to the fact that we want to have good relationships.

I encourage you to honour yourself-You are Worth it!

God Bless
