Lists
We have been very fortunate this winter, here in Toronto. It has only been very cold a few days & the temperature has usually been above 0 degrees celsuis.
On the days that the sun does not shine, it can feel very gloomy & depressing. It is harder to feel motivated to do more than what we need to do. This feels especially so when we do not have something to look forward to.
It also does not help when other people's spirits are down-life appears flat & grey. These kind of days are important to plan for & have a list on hand.
While I was growing up, there was no time for feeling sad. I grew up in a big family & there were always interruptions. It is funny when you are little & your day to day life seems normal to you-because you do not know any better.
So despite the weather & how I felt there was always something to do & I had no choice in the matter. Cold & wet, go outside, chores to do-you did them or paid the price.
Having the ability to chose what I want to do or not to do, can sometimes leave me feeling at a loss. So a list of things comes in handy.
1. People I can call 2. When is the library open 3. What needs to be done at home 3. Anthing good to watch on TV 4. Read 5. Write 6. Paint 7. Dance!
WE Are All Worth So Much!
God Bless
