Making it Work
This week has gone by fast. Worked some, painted almost everyday, swam, shopped for my friend's birthday-we are going dancing Saturday night, YAH! And I have been doing the cleaning, cause it is part of my gift.
I really do not like cleaning, but who does? I did a lot of it plus cooking, grocery shopping, laundry, looking after my 3 younger siblings & dishes! My parents bought a dishwasher after I left home. Yes I grew up quickly & time went by slowly-same routine everyday except Saturday, we went to church & I did get a bit of a break from work.
I learned how to cook & bake at a young age to get attention-I could make the Chistmas dinner by the age of 10. I am not saying this to brag, I mention it because I deserved to get attention for being a child.
So now I do the cleaning at home when it suits me. I do a bit at a time & have breaks so it does not become a chore-That is very important. When we dread the simple things like house work, it is easier to dread other things as well.
I do not like shaving, but if I put it off, then my face gets itchy & sometimes I get a rash. I do not like leaving the house unless I have a reason-swimming has motivated me to get out more. I could give a list, however, the point is to choose to do things on purpose, make plans-I bike to different libraries across the city & discover new areas of the city.
So put on your favorite music & choose to have fun while you clean-okay it is hard to hear the music when you vacuum, well practise your singing.
You Are Worth So Much!
God Bless
