Sun, reflection & cake

I do beleive that spring is here to stay-no more snow or cold, thank you very much.  One of those days where just being outside feels so good.

It has been a good day with a lot of feelings-I am feeling out of sorts, like what am I supposed to be doing next?  There are always things to do, but What do I want to do to make this day special?

I did invite some one I met recently at the pool for coffee-we plan to do this on Friday after swimming & I look forward to that.  I took a risk & it is working out.

Eight years with out using alcohol to numb myself-I do not miss it & I do not miss obsessing about when can I drink, how to get it.....

If you drink, please know that I am not preaching against it-I am sharing the fact that it had ruined my life & by the grace of God, I am free of it & have built a new & healthier life.

I can look at people who are struggling with more compassion, share my journey to help others & encourage in a loving way, others with their challenges.

We all have things we have a hard time with, however there is always Hope!

I am going to go have my cake to celebrate 'Me'!
