Maybe.....latter.....

It was very warm today, just like summer, but not uncomfortable.  I got some good painting done today-I am determined to get the ones I am working on completed real soon.

That reminds me of procrastination-putting things off due to lack of energy, enthusiasm or simply thinking-oh I will do it soon, some other time.

When we get into this type of thinking it affects all areas of our lives.  We can still do our best at work & other things, however, certain parts of our lives are not moving forward, thus limiting our potential.

Think of 5 things you are putting off so this does not become overwhelming. I will list some examples from my own life.

1. Update my artist statement & artist resume of shows

2. Going through my stored boxes & getting rid of unneeded stuff

3. Doing my taxes

4. Confronting a person regarding hurtful words still affecting me

5. Keeping up a dialoge with friends

Now some are easier to do then others & some take time & energy I feel I do not have right now-I am responsible for taking care of me.

I also find that I do have a new scheduale I am ajusting to, but, putting things off does not help me move forward.

Having a list, a small one, is the first step.  I have written them down & now they are more vivid in my thoughts.

The next is to plan-I will spend 15 minutes going through papers & do it.

Procrastination can really affect others in your life, especially when they depend on you-so parents please put your kids on the top of your priorities.

Also do not put off taking care of you!  It is not any one elses job, it's yours.

You Are Worth So Much!

God Bless
