Easter

What do you do for Easter?  Do you give chocolate eggs?  Go to church?        - church attendance is the highest at Easter in North America.

I would think it would be Christmas-we always went to church, so it did not make any difference except the program at Easter was somber.

I do not understand why the mood at church has to be so heavy-Christ died so that we could be free (he knew he had to die to fulfill prophecy & take sin into himself so that we could be forgiven of sin). 

I know this is very serious, however, why not also celebrate?  Religion gets too caught up on the don'ts instead of focusing on joy, peace & love.

Christ died so that we could have a personal relationship with him-not a religion.

Okay, I have done enough preaching for now.

I want to get some painting done this long weekend & maybe even organize more of my room-well I really do not have a choice, the electrician is coming.

Going on a picnic would be fun & if it is too cold, then have it indoors.

Have an outing in nature-so many plants & trees are starting to bud.

Get together with friends & have some silly fun.

What ever you do, treat yourself well-with gentleness, kindness & love.
