High Park...

I rode

in

High Park

today

-an easy

slow ride...

Went by

the little

zoo

-you can

easily miss

it for

the sign

is too

small...

I like

seeing the

animals

-despite their

spaces being

little...

Swans were

on my

mind

-so I

went to

investigate...

As I

came to

a quiet

place

-where the

waters are

connected...

I reminded

myself

-this is

a new

memory...

For this

park

years ago

was a

sad place

-I have

been sad

in so

many

places...

Today

is peaceful

-a touch

of healing

pain

then move

on...

I will

see the

swans another

time

-passed the

zoo again

& homeward

bound...

I did not want to get triggered-sometimes it's good to by-pass certain places.  Go another time when spirits are higher.

There is always Hope!
