Trying my best...

I met

with a

new guy

to AA

-we had

lunch...

When I

started sharing

-a book

(I gave

him)

-asked him

to write

out

-I love

you (name)

& you

are beautiful

& perfect

right here

right now

forever &

always...

He looked

perplexed

-& said

he was

uncomfortable...

I told

him

-I'm not

going to

preach

-I just

want to

be your

friend...

We went

our own

ways

-I felt

like I

did something

wrong

-so I

prayed...

Dear God

-please help

(name) to

open his

heart

-& that

I can

be a

friend...

There is always Hope!  All I can do is my best & if people are not able to connect with me-that is ok.  I know I planted seeds in his heart & they will grow!
