Mar 26

I'm realizing now that I should have been dating posts with the year. I guess at the beginning I didn't have the foresight to know that I'd still be carrying on two years later! I have a few things on my mind.

1) I want you all to know that nearly EVERY DAY I have a thought about how amazing and kind and generous someone was who helped us through this tough thing. Some of you are people I see all of the time. Some of you are people I had not seen or talked with in years... and haven't been in touch with much since. I am so grateful.

2) Last night I achieved what might be the first pony tail I've had in two years. There were braids, clips and hair ties involved, but it stayed for an evening of rock climbing. THIS is exciting stuff.

3) I have a scan scheduled for Mar 31. As usual, we don't expect any surprises and we will update you all when we get the results late that afternoon.

We are so lucky to have all of you and the support you've sent our way.

Happy Easter, happy spring.

Jessica, that's really exciting news about your ponytail. I can only imagine the feeling of success! And rock climbing! To feel so well again to be physical must feel amazing. I'm dreaming of the day Mike feels well enough and strong enough to do something like that, mind you he's not a rock climber, but you know what I mean! I'll be thinking of you next week!!!

That is great news! Perhaps you should all celebrate the new "pony tail" (symbolic of your spirit to pursue outdoor adventure) by coming to Banff, Alberta. We mean it! We have lots of space; two extra bedrooms with baths, kitchenette and a separate entrance. Your's for the taking whenever, and for however you would like to use it. Have a Wonderful Easter! You've added much to mine by sending out the word that you are doing well. Hugs to all! Mark and the Girls

Jessica, as always you are in our thoughts and prayers. And a 'pony tail', that's great. So glad you are feeling 'well' and can go 'rock climbing'. Takes a lot of energy, I would think. love you, MiMi and Bubba.
