Dec 5

Our family is busy scurrying around trying to get everything in for the holidays. You too? I know, it can feel crazy but it is usually worth it. I was just reading a post from someone going through a very tough treatment for a cancer diagnosis similar to mine. They have had different results than I did, but thankfully have some good treatment options ahead of them.

I just want to reach out and say thank you. Everyone who kept tabs on me in some way or another helped me through this process. Those of you who have hung around long enough to deal with the post cancer anxiety get double thanks. What a bizarre phenomenon that is. You're healthy and not distracted by your charge through treatment, so you have time to worry about what could happen. It's insane, but also insanely common. I should have some sort of appointment late December or early January to check in with my doctors. For now, things are good and I'll keep you posted.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Dearest Jessica, We are truly Blest to have You here with us. And to have been able to 'walk the Journey with You'. You 'did good' and became stronger and in that way, You made Us Stronger. We are here always to 'listen' and 'encourage' in any way that we can. Our Prayers were answered. We have the 'faith' to 'believe', knowing that God will be there also. Have a Blessed and Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year 2017. Luv you, MiMi and Bubba

Sweet Jessica. We cannot imagine how it felt while you were going through the treatment, and then afterward, when you were trying to control the fear. Both are potentially debilitating challenges, and you won. Having said that, we commend you on your ability to express yourself in these updates and giving us a sense of the emotional part of the process. Again, while we can't really know what you went through personally, we learned so much from you, and you said it with such honesty and courage. You're amazing, and we're truly proud of you. You've earned the blue skies, long hair and even rose-colored glasses. The ability to use a format like this is such a gift to your loved ones, and I am sure, to you. It's a wonderful "invention." Have a Merry Christmas and New Year and give Levi and Campbell big hugs from us. Love, Judy and Bob
