I Love You Honey!!
Seven years ago today I married the most wonderful woman in the world. She has been my rock and foundation for my faith in God. I know that through Him I have eternal life. Thank you Jesus for bringing this woman into my life, When we were married part of our ceremony was to tie the cord of three strands "Gods Knot" from Ecclesiastes 4:12
"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
We have proven that over and over again. Happy Anniversary.

Heather and John, you did great last night! Thanks for sharing your story with us last night . If you didn't follow this with the Truth of God's love, it would have been a sad story. But because of your faith and His love, this story has a very happy ending and you are demonstrating that you know this each day as you accept God's divine providence and believe His Word to save those who trust Him. The way you are both handling all this has touched me deeply and given me a stronger faith. Thank you. I continue to pray for your family. Love you!

I just remember all the times I was at B. a. Hosp and you came upstairs for my hug and kiss...you sat with me as my wonderful shepherd, Princess had to go to heaven...now if you don't have someone to read to you, I'll be glad to...I love mysteries and murder stuff, so nothing is off list....from Judy McDougall...the gray-haired lady who saw the true goodness in you....my phone is 883-4090. Have your wife let me know...XO Judy

I just read your blog and am touched for you and your family. I do not know you but someone posted this on my page so I was
able to learn who John was. I can't imagine a day like you and your family are going through but I do know what it means to have prayer worriers praying for each day for all of you. My son in law has been ill for one year and each day is different than the day before so I know what my daughter has gone through. Jesus is real and He makes a way when we don't see how we can make it through another day. I live in Ohio and am 82 years old so the most I can do is pray for you and John and your boys. I promise I will do that and will bring you to the throne of grace every time you come to mind. God is with you in this trial and He will never leave you. He goes before you and will help you clean all messes the boys make and every detail of your life. Clean to His promises and talk to Him every day and tell Him all your hurts and pain.
Helen Steiner Rice: May He who hears our every prayer, keep you in His loving care--and may you feel His presence near each day throughout the coming year.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:18

Today and every day, feel God's presence as you look for Him in others. Today, whatever occurs,, whichever burden you shoulder, keep steadfast in your trust of God. Continue to try to focus on asking God for help in your decisions and not relying only on your own strength. You may not understand why you are facing adversity or you may question God's plan, but someday you will understand it all.

Psalms 52:8 I trust in the steadfast love of God forever and ever. PSALMS 88:13 But I, O Lord, cry to thee; in the morning my prayer comes before thee.

Hi John,

I have recently spoken about your cause at the Transylvania Choral Society Rehearsal and have also written an article in the St. Philip's "Epistle" on line which goes out to 400 something people. I hope and pray this helps you. If I can do anything else to help you, I will.

Hi John and Heather! I have been listening to the sermons from Brevard Community Church and learned about the trials you are going through. I will continue to pray for you all. John was so good with Colton and the other boys at Boy Scouts. God is always with you and knows what you need even before you ask. I will continue to keep a check in this site so I will know what to pray for you all. I wish I could help you in person but we are 1,000 miles away so I will keep praying. Have a nice Labor Day weekend. Darlene Gant.
