Glad for the good news, Bret! I am learning praise God for good and the bad. I still don't like the bad stuff. It hurts. I prefer margaritas on the beach good stuff. The problem is I don't learn much from that. I hope I get to play some music with you soon! Prayers for strength and healing for you and your family.
Good thoughts and prayers are being lifted for you this morning!!! God will be with you the whole way!! Let us know how things go please! My number is 643-7377.

One of my favorite passages on overcoming adversity ...
He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not grow faint.
Isaiah 40:29-31 (NKJV)
We have been thinking & praying for your family. May God Bless, Heal, and Comfort you and Brett.
Love and prayers,
Mike & Janice Lee
The stories are spellbinding as we listen from Chattanooga. You may not see us but we are tucked into the corner sheets of the hospital beds of Johns Hopkins. We think of you and Bret all the time. We pray God's healing touch on you both -hourly. Glad you had one restful night at least Carol. How is that cold? Are they letting you near Bret- with a mask? What a beautiful story teller you are- making news unbearable- bearable. Love you both A LOT!
Carol, please send me your address. Remembering both of you in my prayers each day. I'm always available to listen, hold a hand or feed you cake, which ever will bring comfort for the moment.
We are praying the rosary for him right now! Maybe that us why the surgery was late, so he would be covered in prayer. May God bleas and comfort you as you wait.
Psalm 103 Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits---who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
May God heal your disease, renew your youth (you are very youthful, Bret!), and give you and your family the peace that passes understanding. You and the surgeons are in His Hands, today and always. God bless you. With love, Mary Baxter
I am thinking and praying for you both. I pray that you will have peace during this journey. Thank you for allowing me to share in this time with you. Please don't hesitate to call anytime! Love you both!
