I've hesitated to post something because with the utter devastation in Japan, our situation pales in comparison. However, so many of you continually ask us how the girls are doing, so here's an update. I'm going to share our Sunday evening with you. Kellie was in tears, saying "I'm so done with this." It's the halo...it's the isolation (no school, no sports)...it's being unable to do "things" you could do before this accident...the pain, the trouble sleeping. She absolutely is grateful that things didn't turn out worse the day of the accident...she knows God has His hand on her life. However, sometimes, you're just "done," ya know?! We were sitting at the kitchen table and Rich reached over and prayed for her. Later in the evening, I walked into her room; she was typing on her laptop, and she pointed out this scripture hanging on her bedroom wall. This is what she posted on her facebook page:

every time i go to bed i dream of the day i get this off and what it will be like. God, i hate this and i dont understand but i know you are watching over me. please give me strength ROMANS 5:3-4 "rejoice in suffering because we know suffering produces endurance, endurance produces character, and proven character produces hope."

Becca is still persevering through PT and OT three times a week. The girls are sharing in chapel at King's Middle School this Thursday afternoon.Thank you again for your continued prayers!
