Chris and Cindy

I have known Chris for over 55 years since we were both middle schoolers in Illinois. He was raised by a loving mother and his father was a college professor, air force veteran, who moved his family from base to base. He is the oldest of his 4 siblings and was always a great role model for the others as they grew up.

In high school Chris played many a rock festival and smokey bar each weekend. He has had great experiences of opening up for Queen, Cheap Trick, REO, Three Dog Night, Aerosmith, Dan Fogelberg, Eddie Money and more. He was even given a jean jacket from Bob Dylan as well as having the Eagles crash at his apartment. He has been fortunate enough to make some good friends along the way and have some great memories.

Cindy, Chris is very lucky to have you, Chase, Claire, the Martins and Parkinsons. I love you all and am here for you if I can help in any way.

Cindy and Chris, I just read this and was really shocked. I had no idea Chris was still dealing with such major health issues. I had hoped all had been taken care of. Now, he's on my daily prayer list for a kidney. My love goes out to both of you.

Marilyn, we have been dealing with several doctors for the past 2 years. We got a handle on his macular degeneration, he will keep his sight, but the kidneys are not doing well. His attitude is good and he, of course is thrilled with our new grandson, Asher, who is our joy. Thank you for your prayers and kind words, they go a long way. I am sad that somewhere along the line I had lost contact with you and I am thrilled that we are back in touch. Love to both of you!

I met Chris through my father being in the sound business since I was a kid. Eventually, I ended up in the business and still remember Chris being so professional and personally concerned for all of his clients. I pray for a miracle that only the Creator can do any way He chooses so Chris can continue to be a blessing to everyone around him. He always greeted me and others with a smile and that is still my memory of him to this day. Now that I am an Audio/Video Production teacher in high school I find myself needing to greet my students with that same positive smile no matter what because it does make a difference to other around you. Many blessings, Chris!

Rick, Thank you so much for those kind thoughts. It does me well to know you are bringing the profession to new generations. (My son, Chase, is working for AMI now.) Please give my regards to your father next time you're in Waco.
