Home, rest, life resumes...

I can’t believe it has been a week since we came home.  Mike and Tyler are 3 weeks post surgery today.  Tyler is still recovering well-unless he coughs, laughs, or sneezes per his Mom. Sounds like he is up and about, attending church, doing some light duty errands and computer/paperwork for job.  Mike and I have been mall walking and resting. Great to be home to celebrate Zack’s birthday (picture). Mike gets easily worn out and is resting on and off, no pain though (just sore), and his lab tests this week showed all his med levels for anti rejection are where they are supposed to be.  He is tolerating the meds fine. He is getting all the nice cards and notes- thanks for all the well wishes. He is not up for visitors or socializing yet, he is in good spirits, just taking all his energy to recover right now. And now I need to wrap some presents- odd how you go through a major life event, but how quickly normal life resumes.  The garbage still needs to go out, and fun holiday traditions this time of year continue. So off I go to wrap- thankful to be home. I am loving all the holiday cards and letters, and we are definitely feeling the community love and support. You should all be commended for a job well done!

❤️, Laura
