Tucson is lovely this time of the year, pleasant temperatures, snow-birds have not migrated down and there is football to watch. Our visit with Dr. Warnic went well, he always spends a lot of time with us. We had an ultrasound Wendy's area... we told the doc we did not want to know the sex... sorry wrong type of ultrasound. That was cool, we could see the scar tissue and pocket of swelling. Following the visit we zipped up the block for a chest x-ray. Both the ultrasound and x-ray revealed clear area,no signs of tumor growth, including the lungs, which if sarcoma returns usually ends up due to its vascular traveling habits. After a lovely lunch visiting out friends at Goodness restaurant, who know us by sight, we visited with the Nurse practicenar Oncologist, which was nice...but really did not seem to accomplish anything.
This morning we, wendy myself Edie Teagan and g'ma and pa, hiked through a stream that runs from a natural spring and Tucson water supply. We came across 4 javelina feeding in the brush, one snorted at us... so we kept our distance. Then on our return we watched 6 Coos deer travel up the ridge to late morning bedding grounds. The kids enjoyed exploring the Sonorean desert... with great care. We swam in the pool and watched the Peanuts movie.
Tomorrow we will travel to Phonix to visit the Naturalpath Oncologist while the rest of the family will play at the zoo. Then we drop g'ma and pa at the airport for their return flight. Both Dwane and Debbie have been amazing help and the kids have so much enjoyed their g'ma and pa. I have been spoiled by their presence and all the work they would attend to daily.
Ciao for now, Jeff
