He's home...
Luke is home, and he says he wants to go back to Camp One Step next year!
He went running before breakfast 6 of the 7 mornings. He didn't have to run loops around and around the camp because he found counselors and medical staff who were willing to go with him ❤️. His food situation worked out well. He ate all of the meals that we packed and supplemented with camp fruit, salad bar and cooked veggies. He didn't feel too old -- he got along with kids his age, counselors and younger kids.
One of the camp traditions is the lake swim. It's a mile plus swim across Lake Geneva, and kids are only allowed to do it if they qualify two years in a row. Luke passed the first qualifier (about .4 mile he thinks). He's looking forward to qualifying for and doing the big swim next year.
Chemo tomorrow morning.
