We have been praying for remission and recovery, but also tempering it with "your will be done." We sorrow with you and the family and at the same time rejoice because we know in all things God is good, even in times of grief. Job 19:25ff has always been a comfort and promise the believer can rest in. Although we cannot be present with you we will continue to pray for you all for comfort, peace, and strength to bring you through.

We will rest in the memories we have of Marian and smile because of them.

Dear Marian & Jim,

We recently heard of your trails and Glenda Stephenson shared your posthope site with us. Please know that you are in our prayers as we join with a host of saints who are interceding for you. As fellow pilgrims, we are embracing our Biblical calling of "bearing one another's burdens". You hold a special place in our hearts. May our Lord daily give you His supply of abundant grace.

Good Morning to you both. I read again your post and smiled at the stages. There are most certainly times when we move from one stage to another. My love and prayers are with you. Yesterday I was so blessed as I read Psa. 111 and FB Meyer reminded us that there are "His works" and "His Work". Right now here in Everett the pink trees with the clusters of bright pink are in their best as the rhoddies are coming. 'His works' and then deep down 'His work' of Redemption. This am i moved on to Psa. 112 and grasped 'lifhgt out of darkness' and thought of Isa 9:1,2 and 50:7. So glad you home is a happy place to be and do count on my love and prayers,

With you, we rest enjoying His adequacy and we rejoice in experiencing His advocacy. We love and appreciate you both so much! Bill & Phyllis (Isa. 58:8)

We'd love to hear of a very special bit of "up" news to celebrate Jim's birthday yesterday. Belated Happy Birthday, Jim. And Marian, belated Happy Jim's Birthday.

Dear Marian,

That spiritual incandescent "love-light" that has marked your life and ministry remains undimmed.
In the natural, this path has to feel so alien to you as it does to us.
We love you and are praying for you at this time when we looking through a darkened glass.

With you, we are leaning on the everlasting arms of the God of all Comfort Who has promised never to leave us or forsake us.

Love and Prayers,

Bill and Phyllis Payne

Dear Marian and Jim, you both continue to be in my daily prayers. My prayer is that you will feel God's presence even in the midst of this crisis. You are both so very loved by so many people. Just think of the lives you have touched and changed...there are so many. Try to take a little comfort from that. I love you. Gerri Mize (formerly from 1st Allliance in Lakeland but now living in Crossville TN.

You were speaking of singing hymns. I have about 50 hymns and gospel songs on my list of 10 favorites. That makes 41 in a tie for 10th. Here is part of the list in no particular order.

First, the Swedish ones;
Day by Day
Children of the Heavenly Father
He the Pearly Gates Will Open
How Great Thou Art

Then the others:
Great Is Thy Faithfulness
It Is Well With My Soul
Like a River Glorious
Whey I Survey The Wondrous Cross
Be Thou My Vision (for the adopted Irish part of me)
Faith's Promise and Responsibility (otherwise known as Amazing Grace)

Well, these are today's favorites. I also could have added
For All the Saints
Blessed Assurance and almost anything else written by Fanny Crosby.

We continue to pray for you all for healing and peace and comfort and praising God for his goodness and wisdom
