The Second Cancer Journey - The Challenges of Metastatic Breast Cancer

(Please click on "About" tab on site for background.)

Welcome to Marianne Foreman's PostHope Site

Dear Family and Friends,

You were at my side and placed me in your prayers on my first breast cancer journey in 2006. Now, I'm facing the challenge of metastatic breast cancer in the liver and bones. Your support and prayers are once more welcomed and needed.
Where to start? … I guess the beginning is the best. After twelve-and-a-half years of cancer-free worries, a soreness under the right rib cage was checked out during a normal six-month doctor visit in Las Cruces on November 27, 2018, with Dr. Sangeeth Shanbagh Pai. She surmised I might have a gall bladder problem and ordered an ultrasound of the area. My challenge now unfolded as the results showed unidentified masses on the liver. Blood tests showed elevated liver enzyme counts as well. Immediately, she ordered more definitive tests. I will simply chronicle the next events and try to be as succinct as possible.
Should you wish to follow my story, please check in on this site over the next six months as my treatment tale unfolds. (Please see below for site guidelines.)

God bless each of you for your love, caring support and friendship.
