We are ending week 10 and ready to move to the third (of im not sure how many) phase of continuation treatment tomorrow! Week 10 was a surprisingly wonderful week!! We finally felt like we got our Livi back!! She has had so much fun this week by spending as much time as possible outside, playing with Owen and our neighbor, Jack, making cupcakes and even a crawfish boil! Her tummy issues have cleared up and besides her crazy cravings things felt relatively normal this week! Her cravings have moved from beans to shrimp, Italian sausage, fish sticks and most recently tilapia... could be worse things for her to eat all the time I guess! We are anxiously gearing up for this week. Olivia will spend most of the day at St. Jude tomorrow for blood draws, doctor visit, 3 hours of 3 types of chemo and then physical therapy! Thankfully we aren’t in isolation so she is able to get out and explore! Olivia is also being filmed again tomorrow by her favorite camera guy and I have the honor of sharing her story with a group of donors on campus tomorrow! We have absolutely loved being able to advocate for St. Jude through all of this! Peter is so close to his goal for the upcoming Nashville race! If you want to donate here is the link (every dollar helps so nothing is too small): https://fundraising.stjude.org/site/TR/Heroes/Heroes;jsessionid=00000000.app20122a?px=3982915&pg=personal&fr_id=97508&NONCE_TOKEN=5F9CF6AAA48745BF1959CCD59E5A5006
We also got exciting news this weekend that our neighbor and friend, Ryan, who is part of the Young Constructors Fourm, presented Olivia with a $3500 donation in her honor to St. Jude, raised by the YCF members, at their Crawfish boil on Friday! We were totally shocked and so grateful that they chose to raise money in her honor!
We continue to be amazed at how truly blessed we are to have such an absolutely amazing support group! We wouldn’t have survived the last 8 months without it! Please pray for continued good days and that Monday’s tough dose of chemo is handled well by Olivia!
