Home again home again!

After a day of travel yesterday, we finally made it home! It feels so good to be back in our own space again. My healing process if far from over, but it will be nice to continue down that road at home. We are so very grateful for Ashley, Jordan, Janie, and Jim McPhail, who were our lifelines while we were in TX. Ashley gave us her beautiful apartment for three weeks-- I'm pretty sure that's one of the most Christian things I've ever heard of! We loved spending Easter with their entire extended family.

Our friend, Keri, and Remy, our dog picked us up from the airport and brought us home. Now we just have to aclimate to our own space again.

I'll continue my medical follow ups with my oncologist here in LB until I have to go back to Houston in a couple of weeks to see Dr Sugarbaker again.

Yay! Glad you guys made it home safe and sound. Sending you prayers and love for a smooth recovery and all the joys of being home. BTW, I love your doctor's name. I'm sure his name is a like a good sign or something. :)

Greetings, John Forrest and Ben! We've been following your Houston saga posts but I only figured out today how to re-set the password I forgot so I couldn't send messages before. Anyway, congratulations, welcome home, and now a happier spring! Best as ever, Will and Fran irwin
