Some Ups, Some Downs But Still On Track...

Hey Friends...

It was quite the busy week after a quiet week.

I met the Radiation Oncologist at Northwestern Hospital on Tuesday That went visit went great! Only 5 weeks of radiation, 5 days a week. I have tests schedule end of February and start mid-March if all goes well.

Wednesday was back to University of Chicago for Pre-Chemo Checks and Drop off. Unfortunately the phone rang Thursday morning and my white blood cell count was done and kidney function was up. With being said chemo was on hold for Friday. I kept the faith finished preparing my Penguin Caps for Friday.

Friday morning tests were re-run and white blood cells were up! Chemo was a go but received and extra IV before for my kidneys. After chemo a shot patch was put on my arm. I can now be part of the Nelulasta Commercial. Early this evening I will get a shot to boost my white blood cells. But once again no shower so Smelly Kelly!

I gave strict directions to my Cancer Angels (my dad and friend Shawn) no fun or drinks till this week was over because we had a busy week and some others need there help too! Plus Dad had Grandma's 95th B-Day this week. So last night I sent them back to happy! Dad's Oncology Team even came to visit us during Chemo yesterday.  So overall the week ended on high note with only 1 more Chemo Session left!

Happy Saturday:)
