Getting better

Sorry for the gap in posts. I had some log in issues that are now resolved. I'm truly grateful that my mom was able to oversee the transition from hospital to home. She was amazing and did so much. I'm also grateful for Daya and Chad and all that they have done to help. After Doann left, Donya took over and was a big help, as my appetite came back, she did a great job making heart healthy meals. Kim is here now, and helping with so many things. I also want to thank my yoga community, especially Jan for all the support and donations. I'm lucky to have such a supportive family and group of friends. I couldn't have made it without all the help I received.

I'm feeling better everyday. I've been walking on the path behind my house and running errands when I can. I'm not driving yet, but will check with the doctor tomorrow to see when I can start doing that again.

All the Best,

Pete - we've never met, but we're neighbors and close friends with your mom, Doann. We are grateful to have had a window into your story, one that started out terrifying, and has ended up inspirational. All the best, Denny & Sally

Pete, Please make sure that the doctor releases you so you are able to make popcorn. Please do not tell the doctor that the popcorn is made with really bad movie theater butter and full of salt! I don't want any question of whether you can or you can't make popcorn once your are back at GAP. I'd hate for there to be any delay, what so ever, concerning your return as the popcorn chef! This, of course, is of dire consequence! Hope to see you soon. Miss you! :-)
