January 30, 2017 - Day 16

The past few days have been nothing short of a roller coaster for Nate, as his body is healing and fighting day in and out. He is very mentally aware of everything that is going on, which can be quite terrifying at times. Please pray for peace for Nate in this terrible time, as his body heals.

Today Nate undergoes the first phase of an intensive and invasive surgery on his face. He was taken back to prepare for surgery at 9:30am this morning. We have been told that the surgery will take anywhere from 8-12 hours. Please pray for wisdom for the team of doctors through the surgery,  as well as for Nate to keep his heart and mind strong through the next two weeks of healing from this procedure.

Thank you,

The L'Italiens

Gregg and I are praying to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for healing mercies for your precious son and brother, uncle and friend, Nate. We also have a son, Nathan, 25, and can't imagine the pain and fear of loss you are experiencing as a result of this terrible accident. God is faithful, loving, able, and ever present! Carrie just told me that the 10-1/2 hour surgery is completed and that Nate did well. Couldn't have asked for any better news than that!!
