"We created Kilsythe vs. Kancer to show others how one community can stand up to cancer. While surgery and doctors and medicine does its part to heal the body, one neighbor helping another does its part also, to heal the spirit."

Sarah's neighbors' support continues! In honor of Sarah and the power of community, they formed the team Kilsythe vs. Kancer for The Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk on Sunday morning, September 29th. They would love to extend the invitation for all of Team Sarah (and beyond) to join.

Its free to register, fundraising is optional, and the walk is fun and very family-friendly. Join the team here:

Also, on Tuesday, August 20th, Flatbread in Bedford will donate a portion of all food sold between 5-9pm to Kilsythe vs. Kancer! No need to RSVP, just show up (with your appetite).

Please let me know if you have any questions, and please SHARE these events far and wide!

“Look to the sky and there you will always find hope.” TRJ Dear Sarah- I took this picture at Walden this past summer. It has been such a guided image for me. The vastness, the splendor and the endless beauty in transformation. We are sending you universal light and love as you heal and strengthen. Much love- Tara Rachel, Aaron and Jade Rose.

Dear Sarah,

I am so happy to hear that everything went well and that you are now in recovery mode. I have been doing the healing meditation, Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung, every day for you the last week or so (same one that Jen is doing). Here are some more specific instructions in case anyone else wants to do it. Even 3,5, or 7 minutes is good:

Sarah is out of surgery and recovery and in her room at MGH for overnight observation. Her amazing surgeons at MGH (Dr. Michele Gadd in oncology and Dr. Amy Colwell in plastic and reconstructive) were very happy with the outcome and everything is going to plan. All the love and support is both appreciated and effective. Sarah went into surgery from a pretty zen place. Homeward bound tomorrow...
